OUR PROJECTS
We are currently working on :-
Development of a transport hub
Improvement of town centre civic space
Expanding Ury Riverside Park
Full utilisation of cultural and historic assets
Development of tourist destination facilities
OUR GOALS

INCREASE PARTICIPATION
Increase participation by the community in the social, cultural and sustainable development of Inverurie.

PROMOTE RESEARCH, SURVEYS AND INVESTIGATIONS
To support the delivery and management of initiatives, programmes and projects.

SUPPORT COMMUNITY HUBS
Act as a place of contact and support to help promote and develop the town effectively to visitors and new businesses.

CREATE & MAINTAIN A WEBSITE
Create a simple website to showcase the town, its opportunities and its historic attractions.

INCREASE SENSE OF COMMUNITY
Through supporting and developing new social enterprises and increasing volunteering opportunities.

SUPPORT DEVELOPMENT OF TOWN TRANSPORT HUB
Introduce increased opportunities for efficient and low carbon transport to and around the town.

SUSTAINABLE & IMPROVED TRAVEL
Introduce accessible and active travel routes, travel facilities, low-emission regular public transport, new cycling and walking routes.

ATTRACTIVE & GREENER TOWN
Create a town centre with open and enhanced green spaces, enhanced cultural and historical assets, accommodation and leisure facilities.

SPORTS & RECREATIONAL FACILITIES
Install exercise equipment at key points around town and create a well-maintained sports and recreational facilities with a range of options.
