What have we achieved this year?
Installed a new community noticeboard, sponsored by We are INverurie BID.
Relaunched the Inverurie Community Twinning with Bagnères-de-Bigorre, France, to promote cultural exchange and collaboration.
Created the Inverurie Local Place Plan, holding a public consultation in March and online consultations to gather views on local places and buildings, which will feed into the next Local Development Plan.
Held a successful fundraising quiz in April, with the aim of making it an annual event.
Hosted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in November and two Members' Meetings in May and November at the Garioch Heritage Centre.
Progressed key projects, including a community art project and the development of "Inverurie Routes" heritage trails. More on both these projects in 2026.
Collaborated with other local groups, such as We are Inverurie BID and the Inverurie Community Council, to enhance community spirit and support local initiatives.
Refreshed our website to showcase our projects and added lots of new content.

We held our fund raising quiz. Very well attended and we hope to make this an annual event.
Inverurie is twinning with Bagnères-de-Bigorre in France. We support this and would love to see more events to support both towns.
We held a public consultation to gather views on places and buildings and where you would like to see them . We will develop Inverurie’s Local Place Plan which will feed in to the next Local Development Plan.
We held a joint meeting with the Trustees of Ury Riverside Park and heard about the Local Development Plan and the 3/30/300 Tree Project.
We launched our Recreation Survey to gather views on the reactional facilities in our town.
We worked in partnership with Ury Riverside Park to purchase and install new equipment at the park
